Cause and Effects of Global Warming-Free-Samples for Students

Question: Discuss about the Cause and Effects of Global Warming. Answer: Cause of global warming Global warming is one of the major concerns encountered by the modern society. The human activity related to modernization is the main cause of the global warming that is caused due to the emission of greenhouse gases including methane and carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is the main cause of global warming due to the fact that they absorb sunlight and solar radiation that is supposed to bounce off from the surface of the earth[1]. Hence the heat gets trapped within the surface of the earth, thereby increasing the average temperature of our planet. With the advancement of human Civilization and digital technology, the amount of carbon dioxide that has been released in the atmosphere is increased tremendously. Other pollutants that include Nitrogen dioxide and Sulphur Dioxide are also few of the major causes of Global Warming[2]. Effects of global warming The global warming is causing the rise of the average temperature of the earths surface that is causing the harm to all the ecosystems of the planet. As the surface temperature of the ocean is getting warmer, it is causing more frequent storms like Hurricane and Cyclone. Melting of glaciers near the polar region is also one of the severe effects of global warming that is believed to raise the sea level. This is a major threat to all the coastal areas of our planet[3]. The marine life is also tremendously affected due to the change of ocean temperature. The increased amount of air pollutants is also directly affecting the health of human by causing several diseases like allergies and other breathing problems. References Karl, Thomas R., et al.
